New Dates for the 4th VREF Conference on Urban Freight: “Urban freight and liveable cities: Interactions between planning, design and business for scalable innovations”
The Urban Freight Platform thanks for the abstracts but decided to postpone the conference to Tuesday 23 to Thursday 25 March 2021 due to the ongoing uncertainty concerning travel and attendance at events.
The conference will include a series of presentations of research papers on the basis of submitted abstracts (in oral and poster form); as well as invited presentations, panels and break-out sessions discussing innovative solutions that consider the perspectives from authorities, transport operators, retailers, architects, planners, other industry stakeholders and researchers.
The Urban Freight Platform is investigating the opportunity for study visits to take place on Monday March 22, 2021, prior to the conference and Friday March 26, 2021, after the conference in order that everyone visiting Gothenburg can get the most from taking part in the event.
In view of the delay to the conference it was decided to invite full papers from all those who have currently submitted abstracts and also to allow that possibility for abstracts that may be submitted and accepted between now and 1 November 2020. Full papers will be considered for a journal special issue. Full papers should be submitted by 29 January 2021.
The call for abstracts with all the details is available here Pdf, 712.5 kB. (Pdf, 712.5 kB).
