Dr. Johan Woxenius is a professor of Business Administration with Special Emphasis on Maritime Transport Management and Logistics at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. He studied for a degree of Master of Science in Engineering in 1991 with Special Emphasis on Industrial Economics at Chalmers University of Technology, where he got his doctorate in 1998. He was appointed a Docent in Logistics in 2006. Between 2005 and 2007 he was Guest Professor at Blekinge Institute of Technology. Dr. Woxenius´ research interests are in the areas of Maritime logistics, Intermodal transport, and Sustainable logistics. He has published nearly 20 papers peer referred journals and book chapters, and 15 papers in referred conferences. He is now Member of the Editorial advisory board of the journal European Transport - International Journal of Transport Economics, Engineering and Law. Articles have appeared in European Journal of Transport and Infrastructure Research; European Transport - International Journal of Transport Economics, Engineering and Law; Growth & Change: A Journal of Urban and Regional Policy; International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management; Journal of Interdisciplinary Economics; Journal of Transport Geography; Journal of Transportation Planning and Technology; Logistik-Management; Transport Reviews and World Review of Intermodal Transportation Research.
