Håkan Frisinger Award 2016 and Seminar 2017
The Håkan Frisinger Foundation for Transportation Research has awarded its 2016 scholarship of SEK 250,000 to Louise Olsson, Professor at the division of Chemical Engineering, and manager for the Chemical engineering division.
The scholarship will be awarded by the Håkan Frisinger Foundation at a seminar jointly organised by the University of Gothenburg, Chalmers and the VREF held on:

Facts:
Håkan Frisinger was CEO of Volvo in 1983-1987 and Chairman of the Board in 1997-1999. Each year the Håkan Frisinger Foundation for Transportation Research awards a scholarship of SEK 250 000 to a prominent researcher at a Swedish University. The scholarship will encourage research and development in the field of transportation and is primarily awarding achievements already accomplished within this area. A total of 20 persons were included on the nomination list for the 2013 scholarship.
Nomination of recipients of the Frisinger scholarship is conducted by the Chalmers University of Technology and Volvo Research and educational Foundations (VREF). The decision about the scholarship is made by the Board of VREF.
