Centres of Excellence
Through the FUT program, VREF initiated and supported at this date ten Centers of Excellence in five regions of the world. Many of them fulfilled their function very well and are now closed as such. Nonetheless, many of them could evolve independently beyond the end of their projects and are still part of the VREF's network.

Lee Schipper Memorial Scholarships for Sustainable Transport and Energy Efficiency targets supporting the momentum of Lee Schipper’s contribution to the international policy dialogue in these fields.
This yearly award is aimed at supporting young individual researchers and students in is pursuance.
