Research themes
The Future Urban Transport research programme intends to create strategies for developing sustainable transportation systems in large urban areas around the world. The programme is organised into seven themes to support the vision to inspire and support new, equitable urban transport solutions that improve accessibility and safety as well as efficiency and environmental sustainability.

The themes are:
