Save the date! The next Mobilize Summit, Building Collective Action for the Next Decade, will take place in October 2020, and will be virtual

The 2020 MOBILIZE will be going virtual during the week of October 26, 2020. This year, theSummit will convene up to 500 sustainable transport experts. Attendees include leading mobility experts, high level government officials, development bank representatives, academics, and civil society members. The theme, Building Collective Action for the Next Decade, will underscore the plenaries, breakouts, and workshops, with the goal of each of us committing to taking action.

2020 is a milestone year for cities, from crisis management, to resilient sustainable transport and urban development, to addressing long standing inequities and structural injustices baked into our policies and streets. This year marks the next decade as the most crucial period for setting new norms and a tipping point for cities in light of the global pandemic. Through collective action and redefining institutional frameworks around what we value, including accessible public health, safe and accessible streets and neighborhoods, clean air, and regulating cars and freight, we can set the foundation for sustainable futures.
