A call for co-creation! Join the shaping of VREF Virtual Research Forum, taking place during the Mobilize Summit, and get the chance to full admission for both events.

This year, the Mobilize Summit will be a virtual event, taking place October 26, 28 and 30. During the same week, on October 27 and 29, the VREF network will come together through a Virtual Research Forum on Future Urban Transport – and we want everyone to join us in making this a co-created event of high relevance.

A virtual opportunity

The Mobilize summit 2020 and VREF Virtual Research Forum will comprehend ambitious events with expected audiences of 100-500 people globally. We hope that you will join us in this exciting exploratory project to develop a virtual event of this scale and relevance in the time of Covid-19!
We especially invite you to take an active part in making VREF Virtual Research Forum a platform for a broad exchange, reflecting priorities and points of strong (or emergent) interest within the VREF community.

Hosted conversations

For example the VREF Virtual Research Forum will offer a range of hosted conversations, where 10-12 people from the VREF community are given the chance to share insights, experiences and perspectives on topics of mutual interest. Each conversation will be only 42 minutes long. There will be no presentations, no papers – participants such as yourself will bring to the table only their own experiences and perspectives, as well as a willingness to share and listen. A conversation host will lead the way. In total there is space for about 20 conversations, where each participant can participate in a maximum of 4.

VREF has a limited number of tickets to the VREF Research Forum and Mobilize Summit which are available for free to researchers and others in the VREF community.

To get on the list and have a chance on these tickets, you need to take part in a survey. It takes just a minute but will help us a lot, by indicating which topics you all think would be most interesting, relevant or urgent to have conversations about.

So please, click the link below to express your interest in participating in the Mobilize Summit and VREF Research Forum, as well as to indicate what topics you would most like to discuss. Join us in shaping the event together!

VREF Virtual Research Forum will be held October 27 & 29, – 9:00 AM-12:00 PM EDT.

Please, feel free to spread this information on Mobilize and VREF Virtual Research Forum with colleagues in the VREF network. If you have any thoughts, ideas or questions regarding the events, please do not hesitate to contact us.
